Petra is an eclectic Artist based in Los Angeles.
A natural globetrotter, she grew up in Italy, Spain and moved to L.A. to study Fine Arts at Otis College of Art.

Her dad, an Austrian engineer and avid music lover, introduced her to a rich variety of music – from classical and jazz to blues, gospel, flamenco, and bossa nova.

“One day he sat me down in the living room,”  she recalls, “and played a classical movement performed by two different orchestras so I could hear the differences in the interpretation. That was a profound moment and a lasting bond in my life. Music is powerful on so many levels”.
On a later day, she introduced him to Queen for their operatic flair.

Her Italian mother taught her Soul, not the genre, but the fundamental value of  staying rooted  in one’s own Spirit and to be authentic with integrity.

“I discovered my creative self through abstract mixed media painting,” she says, “and continued to expand it through singing and songwriting. I feel deeply connected to my soul when creating, and I believe it’s the artist’s duty to uplift.”

Out of the Blue is Petra’s debut album, featuring original songs written by her and independently produced with Latin Grammy Producer and Engineer Luca Germini.

The Album leans into themes of existence, giving it a reflective touch.
From introspective ballads to indie rock with a vintage edge, the record blends styles with an effortless, eclectic flair lending it a unique authenticity.
